Balbo Gregg Attorneys at Law Richmond Hill

Hinesville Court-Martial Lawyers

When facing court-martial, non-judicial punishment (Article 15) and administrative separations, service members have the right to retain civilian counsel at no cost to the government.

For many service members, representation by an experienced civilian lawyer can provide several advantages compared to representation by an Army lawyer. At Balbo & Gregg, both our attorneys have extensive experience with criminal cases. Both served as military prosecutors, and both are familiar with the unique aspects of military law. Both attorneys carry lower caseloads than the typical judge advocate, and so they can devote more time to your case. Balbo & Gregg, Attorneys at Law, are fully committed to providing you with aggressive, experienced representation designed to obtain the best possible outcome.

Our firm represents service members in matters involving:

  • Court-martial
  • Administrative separation (Chapters)
  • Non-judicial punishment (Article 15)
  • Letters of reprimand (LOR and GOMOR)

Experienced Military Law Attorneys

Balbo & Gregg, Attorneys at Law, represents members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard posted in Georgia, South Carolina and other military installations around the world.

  • Court martial — As experienced military law and criminal law attorneys, we will aggressively defend your rights and freedom at all stages of the legal process.
  • Administrative separation — If you are facing a separation board hearing, we can represent you with the goal of preventing the separation or obtaining the best level of discharge possible.
  • Non-judicial punishment (Article 15) — You can accept your commander's punishment under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, or you can choose our firm to represent you. We can present evidence in your favor seeking exoneration or try to mitigate the level of punishment you receive.
  • Letters of reprimand — Though a letter of reprimand is filed locally and generally does not have a significant immediate effect, it does go into your permanent file and can have a significant effect on your military career. Receiving an LOR or GOMOR may be cause for separation or cause you to be passed over for promotion. The time to respond is before the letter is issued. We can represent you, seeking to prevent the issuance of a letter, or insure local filing.

When you hire our firm to represent you, you are hiring an experienced team of military law attorneys. We are fully committed to protecting your rights and interests at all times.
